Chef Cal Stamenov is fortunate to have an extensive herb and vegetable gardens, vineyards, and fruit trees on our 26-acre estate. And diners at Lucia Restaurant & Bar are equally fortunate to be able to sample Chef Cal’s creations from our own backyard. Join Chef Cal and horticulturist Mark Marino for a tour through our organic herb, vegetable & flower gardens and meet our 180,000 resident honey bees. Whether it’s aromatic herbs, sweet torpedo onions, colorful rainbow chard, sweet honey or fresh-picked roses from our garden, the ingredients are the catalyst for Lucia’s flavorful, homegrown dishes.

Our sunny Carmel Valley vibe, alfresco seating, warm hospitality and picturesque views is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Enjoy live music and summertime favorites while our cocktail artisans serve up refreshing specialty hand-crafted libations.

Tomato lovers rejoice! Championing the relationship between food and terroir, Chef Cal Stamenov brings the idea of farm-to-table back to the land with homegrown offerings from our local culinary artisans. Sip a Bloody Mary alongside local farmers, Dick and Bonnie Swank of Swank Farms, as they guide you through more than eight varieties of their certified organic heirloom tomatoes. After a reception in the sunshine, step into Lucia Restaurant for a garden inspired lunch buffet featuring Chef Cal’s Tomato Ratatouille, Carmel Valley Gazpacho, roasted free-range Sonoma Chicken and natural prime beef. Enjoy the bounty of Carmel Valley wine country at this annual event!
