Eight rooms or more are considered a group and must be booked through our Sales department. Groups are subject to the terms of a contract, including cancellation policy and performance requirements. In the event that a group of rooms is booked as individual reservations, the resort reserves the right to require the block of rooms to be subject to the terms and conditions of a contract. The hotel is conveniently located near several major airports:

• Monterey Regional Airport (MRY): 11 miles (17 km), approximately 15 minutes away.

Yes. We offer two standard and four Tesla charging stations, complimentary for guests.

All rooms require a valid credit card and one-night deposit. Occupancy limits and additional guest fees:

• Double Queen: Up to 4 guests
• King Room: Up to 3 guests ($75/night rollaway charge)
• Villa Suite: Up to 4 guests
• Villa: Up to 8 guests

The resort is a non-smoking property (including e-cigarettes, vaping machines, etc.) and all guestrooms, patios, balconies, and public areas are designed as such. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area. A $250.00 fee will be applied to the room bill if smoking occurs in or around guestrooms.

Our 24-hour fitness room includes cardio machines, strength equipment, free weights, and access to nearby hiking trails.

The Spa is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services include massages, specialty treatments, a sauna, steam room, and warming pool. The spa is equipped with a steam room, sauna, and warming pool. Guests must be 18 or older. A credit card is required for all appointments. No shows or cancellations received within 24 hours of a scheduled spa or salon appointment will be charged 100% of the service price. A 23% service charge is added to treatments and can be adjusted. Cell phone use and smoking are not permitted in The Spa.

Yes, the outdoor heated pool and hot tub are available to resort and spa guests year-round. Cabanas and lounge chairs are complimentary on a first-come, first-served basis. Spa services for locals and non-resort guests may be booked with or without access to our spa facilities. When booked in addition to a massage or facial, a Stay All Day Pass includes a robe, slippers, access to the locker room, steam room, sauna, showers, and pools. The pass is $95 and includes all-day access on the day of service. Spa services may also be booked a la carte without a Stay All Day pass.

Our lobby and concierge services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Yes, dogs are welcome! A $250 cleaning fee per dog, per stay applies (maximum of 2 dogs per room). Pet amenities include a plush bed, bowls, treats, and cleanup bags. Service animals are always welcome.

Yes. Bernardus Lodge & Spa is a 100% non-smoking property. A $250 fee applies for violations.

You must cancel or modify your reservation at least 7 days before arrival to avoid a one-night room and tax charge. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card and a deposit of one-night room and tax, unless otherwise specified. All major credit cards are accepted: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Diner’s Club, and JCB.

Yes, parking is available for $30 per night for both self-parking and valet.

Guests are subject to the following:

• Hotel Occupancy Tax: 10.5%
• California State Tourism Assessment: 0.195%
• County Tourism Assessment: $7 per night
• Resort Fee: $70 plus tax per night (total $77.35)
